Welcome Reception  -  7:00pm - 10:00pm   Lexington Historical Society, 13 Depot Square, Lexington, MA  (Parking lot in rear.)

We begin with a welcome back reception at the Lexington Depot.  We wanted to have an event on Friday night for classmates arriving in town

and we are thrilled to be able to host an event right in the center of town.     We are planning to offer light fare and a cash bar.  Casual dress.

Join us for this fun kickoff event.

                                Saturday, October 1st

Tour of Lexington High School - 10:00am, Waltham St. and Worthen Rd.  (park and enter at Worthen Rd.)

We have arranged to have a tour of the high school in the morning and the possibility of presenting a Class of 1961 gift.  We know the school

has grown a lot since we walked the halls and thought it might be nice to see how things have changed over the years.

Casual Lunch  -  11:30am - 2:30pm    St. Brigid Church, lower hall 1997 Massachusetts Ave.  (park and enter at rear of building)

Join class members for a light lunch at St. Brigid's to continue the reunion fun in a relaxing atmosphere.    Take the opportunity to walk the

Lexington Green once again.

Class of 1961 Reunion Dinner - 6:30pm - 11:00pm  Andover Country Club,  60 Canterbury St.,  Andover, MA (directions below)

Our traditional class dinner will take place at the Andover Country Club in Andover, MA.   Dinner will be stations to allow classmates to move

through the room, renew acquaintances and perhaps enjoy a dance or two.  This dinner is the centerpiece of the weekend and the committee

has worked hard to make this a memorable evening.

                                  Sunday, October 2nd

Sunday Breakfast - 9:00am - 11:00am  -  Embassy Suites, 550 Winter St.,  Waltham, MA  (Exit 27B off I-95)

As you can see from the enclosed accommodations information, we have reserved a block of rooms at the Embassy Suites in Waltham,

(formerly the DoubleTree Inn.)   We are reserving space at the Embassy Suites for their Sunday breakfast as a last opportunity of the

weekend to meet with old friends.

Your reunion committee has tried to plan a set of 50th reunion events that will be fun, low-key, and feature the opportunity to sit, talk,

wander, catch up, and revive memories of four wonderful years before we all went our separate ways.

We hope you will plan to be with us this fall.    Please review the enclosed reservation form for reunion events and lodging accommodation

information at the Embassy Suites, should you be coming from a distance.   We have arranged for very reasonable rates that will be

budget-friendly.

Please be sure to fill out the enclosed Classmate Questionnaire even if you don't plan to attend the Reunion weekend.   The information will

be compiled and mailed out after the reunion on CD-ROM.  Pictures from the reunion will be included.   A copy will be sent to all who could

not attend but have taken the effort to fill out the questionnaire.  Feel free to send a current photo, high school era snap shots or clippings

you might want displayed.    Please label the back of any photos you provide.    If you enclose a SASE, these items will be returned to you.

We realize that budgets are tight these days, but please consider making a donation to help purchase a gift for the high school.   There is a

place on the Registration Form to include a donation.

Also, please go to the class website, http://www.lexington1961.org, to check out classmate listings, photos, memorabilia and updates on

events as the fall approaches.  We plan to add items of interest monthly.
